Will it fit my cat or dog?

Spook Rider™ comes in one size, Small, for pets from 2 kg to 11.5 kg. That's almost every cat and small dogs like pugs, dachshunds, small terriers and toy poodles. The neck loop and chest strap both adjust. If your pet is over 11.5 kg or has a very broad chest, it may not fit.

Will my pet actually wear it?

More pets will wear this than a hat. Nothing goes near the face, nothing goes round the legs, and the weight sits on the back. Dogs usually take to it faster than cats. Some pets will refuse any costume, so get your photo, take it off, and if yours won't wear it, return it within 30 days.

Does the lantern really light up?

No. It has no bulb, battery or switch. It glows in the dark: leave the pumpkin under a light for a few minutes, turn the lights off, and it gives a soft glow.

What if my pet panics in it?

It's held by one strap under the chest, so one undo and the costume comes away. Use it for photos and answering the door. Stay with your pet while they wear it, take it off afterwards, and never put it on a pet that's going outdoors off the lead.

What if my pet is very small or large?

Under about 4.5 kg, such as a kitten or a very small chihuahua, the costume may hang loose. Message us your pet's measurements before you order and we'll tell you honestly whether it will work.
